Pubs of Oxfordshire began as two childhood friends, turned university students, wanted to catch up over a pint at our local pub. As we circled the county searching for the best Sunday roast, the most refreshing lager or the nicest terrace to enjoy the summer sun, we realised that locals as well as visitors to Oxfordshire could benefit from tips and tricks on how to navigate the region’s pubs. As our following has expanded, two friends have joined us to complete our current team of four.

We have developed close relationships with pubs across Oxfordshire and collaborate with them in order to produce content which reflects each pub’s unique character as well as our personal takes and experiences.

 

Covid-19: “Stay Safe, Support Your Pubs”

In May 2020, we launched our Stay Safe, Support Your Pubs series which aimed to raise awareness of the unprecedented challenges facing pubs in the face of the pandemic and to promote local businesses and produce. We contacted pubs who were offering takeaway/delivery services and created a personalised post for each of them. This helped to build a platform for maintaining strong local community ties and providing new avenues of support.
