The little-known Red Lion is a delightful 16th century thatched and timbered pub tucked away in the picture-postcard village of Brightwell. The Red Lion is a cornerstone of the surrounding village community, but acts as a homely and friendly stop for passers by. Drinks-wise, the Red Lion supports nearby West Berkshire breweries and the local Brightwell Vineyard, and their Sunday roast is renowned on the local streets. Snug fireplace seating tops it all off.
