The Black Horse in Standlake is a true benchmark for what a real English village pub should be. "The Black Horse started life at least 350 years ago built as an inn. It was later converted into a traditional Cotswolds pub and, to this day, remains the heart of the village and a great place to while away a few hours. Although the pub has changed so much over the years its character hasn’t. Inside you will find exposed beams & fire places. Whilst outside you will step into a brand new patio area with pergola. The Black Horse ethos is to serve great food and drink in laid back environment."
