The Blue Boar - Abingdon

The little known Blue Boar is a perfectly traditional English country pub. Dating from 1606, the pub is sits in the heart of the village Longworth, and is a cornerstone of the local village and surrounding communities. The Blue Boar boasts no less than 3 fireplaces and has heaps of character, combined with a great selection of quirky artefacts that are dotted around and about the interior. If you are going for a weekend walk along the Thames in west Oxfordshire, you should definitely do your best to fit in a visit to this great countryside pub.
