The Fishes - Oxford

The facade of the fine Victorian red-brick building that houses The Fishes on the outskirts of Oxford doesn’t give much away to passers-by. But if you let your culinary instincts take over and wander inside, you will be welcomed into a stylish and light interior, and treated to sweeping gardens with beautiful views, leading down to the Seacourt Stream. After you’ve taken a stroll through the grounds, it’s time to work your way through the seasonal-focused menu, that offers everything from tapas like deli-boards to pub classics and of course, a fine selection of fish. There’s good news for doggies too as the spacious gardens make this a very dog-friendly pub, so a boring afternoon spent in the boot of the car won’t be necessary!

The Fishes has recently carefully reopened so you can enjoy it whilst keeping safe!
